I used the PR #45 and refactored it to be what I consider a bit more flexible. What do you think @knutator @MartinGer?

I think this can be reviewed again now. I recommend testing like this: scrapy crawl brandenburg -s "CLOSESPIDER_ITEMCOUNT=5"
