Broken encoding? #5

Special characters of German cities are broken (ü,ä).

"Osnabrück" is "Osnabrück" "Garching bei München" is "Garching bei Munchen" "Lübeck" is "Lübeck"

Same issue for Irish cities.

Same issue with almost every citie that has tildes. Example: Medellín in Colombia appears as Medellín.

Any hints of how to fix this?

Since I'm coding in Ruby, I ditching this in favour of https://github.com/loureirorg/city-state/ which uses the Maxmind DB. You can parse this date yourself quite easily https://www.maxmind.com/en/free-world-cities-database
