What seems to have happened in this round is:

Gamer and Opponent were both down to their last bone each
Opponent had to pass

the Opponent made a sad expression, then revealed his last bone, then the "gamer wins" scoring dialog appeared. No pass balloon was shown for the opponent (the gamer should have to press the button on this balloon before winning).
