I have this now working in my 2019 on prem env. I wanted to take a moment and thank you for the work that has been put into this for us who are stuck on prem.

Is there still work being done on this project or have it stopped? Anyway wanted to thank you again

Thank you Joel, I really appreciate your comment. For the moment I have not add any other "custom" feature, I developped this enhancement for a customer and wanted to share it with the pnp community, as a thanks for all their job :) Cheers David

I have one error when using this. When i click a link in my results box it goes to a SP page and gives me a "looks like this file doesn't have a preview sharepoint" and i can only download the link? This happens on pages and documents. Not sure is the href is linking woringly or what I'm doing wrong? It happens on all result templats. Any ideas?? I just want it to link straight to the file.

Ok so found the bug and they say its updated in their version :-) https://github.com/microsoft-search/pnp-modern-search/issues/702 Is this something I can change or update with some guidance..
