[Help] In-app settings #12

Hello Sir, I have been driving this app daily for a long time. But as my Google Pixel 8 Pro (February update/Android 14) doesn't want the Mac address to be set in other apps, I can only change the Mac address in the command line.

I have successfully created a command line tool (bash) that simply changes the Mac address. But this is not very practical.

My wishes for this app would be: -when enabling the QS tile, automatically change the last set Mac address (can be enabled in app setting) -when disabling the QS tile, turn WiFi off and on because it doesn't reset Mac immediately -a popup or app menu when long pressing the QS tile, that can set the Mac address or set saved Mac addresses (a popup like the wifi QS popup maybe?) -material you design -scanning nearby Mac addresses in the same network and applying them by clicking on them

All the Mac address setting apps are outdated and don't work with android 14.

Unfortunately I am a front-end web developer and not familiar with Android apps and their structure. But I am indeed very familiar with Linux systems and rooting, so I may provide help in the structure of setting the Mac address. Maybe I can even help design the app. I will help you, if you want to expand the apps functionality (or have time for it), to make this app supercharged with functionality!

If you don't have time or don't want to do so, I'm fine with it. Big thanks anyway for this great application! I absolutely love it! Thanks for keeping the compatibility!

Hello! Thank you for expressing your appreciation for this application as well as providing some great suggestions for how to improve MACsposed further!

Regarding the features you have requested, I have actually already been planning to implement support for changing the MAC address directly in to MACsposed! This has already been discussed in #5. The only reason I have not already done it is simply a lack of time to invest in doing so at the moment. As for some of the other features you requested, they would certainly be wonderful enhancements, but I consider them to be more long-term features. Getting built-in support for changing the MAC address as well as updating to support Android 15 when the final version releases is my top priority for this project.

MACsposed v1.2.0 is now available and it has some of the features that you requested.

Since there are two features in your list that I think are reasonable to add but have not been added yet, I will leave this issue open for now.
