What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run Win7AppId on a system level installed shortcut, ex:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Google
Chrome>h:\tmp\Win7AppId.exe "Google Chrome.lnk"

What is the expected output?
Current AppId: Chrome

What do you see instead?
Error: Failed to load shortcut file

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using the "Jan 27, 2010" upload on win7 64bit.

Please provide any additional information below.
It should open in readonly mode if you aren't trying to set a new appid.

Sorry it took a while to get back to you, didn't have email notification of bug
reports set up.

I think I've fixed the issue. It now opens in shared read mode when you're only
asking it to print the current AppId.
