OSX Yosemite Issues #62

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
The Wii U Pro Controller will connect via Wjoy for about one second, then the
blue light goes off and the device automatically disconnects. I cannot get it
to stay connected for longer than about that one second. Any fix in the works?
It worked perfectly under Mavericks.

Please, try this:

1. remove WJoy (and remove it from trash)
2. remove all Wiimotes from system bluetooth settings
3. install WJoy
4. start it
5. select "One Button Click Option"
6. try connect wiimotes

May be it helps.

does wjoy install Kexts? If so, you may need a special signed kext or
workaround that by typing this on terminal:

sudo nvram boot-args="kext-dev-mode=1"

and then restarting your mac.
This is needed with some third party kexts no on yosemite :/

With 0.7.1 dev mode not needed, I think. WJoy in white list.

The re-install worked for me!

Re-install doesn't work for me, wjoy shows "wiimote disconnected" a second
after the wiimote was detected

I'm also having problems.
As soon as I press the sync button on the back, Wjoy says "End Discovery".

However the blue lights don't stop flashing, until eventually they all turn
off..

Try to remove all Wiimotes from system bluetooth settings. Usually it helps.
