Comments for Hugo Academic (Wowchemy) with Utterances | David Fong | 方拔萃

There are endless numbers of blogs out there, often providing tidbits of useful information which I find useful. And occasionally, someone even finds my posts useful and uses the Wowchemy (Hugo Academic) ‘Contact’ widget to send me a comment or question!

Hi David, thanks so much for this documentation which I have followed. I do not see the changes take any effect on my site https://www.kalz.cc/2021/03/07/bildungdigital21/ although I have conducted all steps. My repository is over here: https://github.com/mkalz/mkalz-academic. What could be wrong?

Thanks mkalz. I notice that in your layouts/partials/comments/utterances.html script you had a 'fully specified' HTML address for your github repo definition, whereas myself (and the examples in the resource links I posted, and the utterances website) says only to use owner/repo specification e.g. DavidPatShuiFong/vkelimHomepage

Thanks a lot for your reply David. I tried to change this but I think my installation was outdated so I could not apply any of the instructions I have found. I have deployed now a new version and with this the commenting-system works exactly as expected. Thanks for your support!

Seems should be layouts ?

Yes, you are right @yzs981130 , thank you! Fixing the description now ... (and if you happen to be from the mainland, hope I can visit and eat good noodles and street food one day ... soon!)

Oh yeah! I am from the mainland. Welcome to the good noodles (there are many good noodles in Xi’an!) and street food, along with the hot pot, white dumplings, and the famous Peking Roasted Duck! Hoping that COVID-19 will soon be contained to the extent that it does not interfere with international travel.
