Custom 'Pages' widget for Hugo Academic - cascading layout for cards | David Fong | 方拔萃

In Hugo Academic (Wowchemy) version 4.8.0, the portfolio widget (used for ‘projects’) allows cascading ‘cards’ layout with the isotope and masonry libraries in the ‘cards’ view (view ‘3’).

Wow this is super useful, you should issue a PR to the main project so we can all get these views and thanks for explaining the Wowchemy internals, they are pretty obscure, but very clear now!

The version of wowchemy (hugo-academic) I am using, 4.8.0, is a fair way behind the current version 5.3.0. Actually, I thought this feature was supposed to be a standard part of version 5+.

Just looking at wowchemy's github, the relevant sections of the code do not appear to have changed in wowchemy. So thanks for the pull request suggestion! Though I don't like doing pull requests for changes I haven't in some way 'production tested' myself, and the thought of upgrading from 4.8.0 to 5.3.0 of wowchemy is daunting!
