Sign In Failed #8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Trying to upload a video
2. Enter account and password
3. Login failed

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to be logged in and upload my video.  Instead, Vidnik shows
"Sign-In Failed"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 0.12.0  Mac OS X 10.5.2

Please provide any additional information below.

Exactly the same issue here. I have logged in ok through the youtube site 
though. Version 0.12.0 on OS X 
10.5.2.

Does your YouTube account name have a period in it?

Currently, you need a YouTube account: although you can log in to YouTube from 
a browser with a Gmail 
account, uploading through the Google Data API was broken, last time I checked.

I have a YouTube account.  The account does not have a period in the account 
name.  I can log into my YouTube 
account through my browser, but not through Vidnik.  Any ideas?? Thanks...

I have the same issue. I have a "pure" YouTube account login and I don't have a 
period in my account name, but I 
am unable to login using Vidnik also.

I can successfully login to YouTube using Safari with my YouTube username and 
password.

I have a "pure" YouTube account login. Account is: mwakefield
I am able to successfully log into YouTube using my account name and password.
My account name does not include a period in the name.

I haven't youtube account. I just use google account. Can i upload videos with 
google account?

when i do the videos it shows x on them and it the button upload is greyed 
hence i am
not able to load up anything

I have a gmail google+ account and I can't log in.

If you can't log in, follow the directions on 
https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833?hl=en to log in with an 
application specific password.
