pxe boot #19

good day, all I can not force decrypt the hard drive using PXE the system loads memdisk and loader.img, doing something and tnen just hangs with the message: Loading boot sector... booting... I tried with all possible ways configure bootloader for pxe with no success It is works fine for bootloader installed on MBR HDD. I remember very well that everything worked in older versions, but I stopped using it because it did not work with WINDOWS 10

is PXE booting work?

There is currently no support for PXE boot when using UEFI/GPT

thanks for quick answer. Did I understand correctly that this should work for MBR? I mean PXE boot? this is most great tool to encrypt drives. Thank you very much for your work!

Yes with MBR/legacy boot it works

Thank you very much for your work! but I cannot confirm that :( it is worked long time ago, but for now it just hangs

is the bootloader deployed properly, iirc you need a tftp server to deploy the immage and the PEX set up as it should? Do you get a password prompt? where exactly does it hang?
