3 years ago Problem Solved!! Avast considers the setup as a virus, deletes it during unzip with out any notice or warning. turning off avast allowed the installation to proceed normally.
downloaded from git hub, proberties say itss blocked, unblock and apply, then try to install as administrator. message says windows cannot locate file, maybe i dont have access to file. did the same thing on my 32 bit computer, did notg bother with unblock or use administrator level, installed fine nd works great. thats why i want to use it on my 64 bit computer
incidentally, two features worth touting are that you can encrypt a thumb drive that already has files on it, and you wont lose them; and you dont seem to lose megabytes of space on the thumbdrive to overhead. Other usb encryptors fail on both these counts.
