[BUG] program keeps closing & controllers dont work on cemu #1047

Hello,

The program seems to close on its own and never come back up, i cant open it again because it will say "Intance already open" but its not, and if i want to have the program back open i have to restart my laptop. Also my Joy-cons will NOT work on cemu for no reason

I expected for my joycons to work on cemu and for the program to stay open.

I had the same issue where the program kept closing. My solution was this:

  1. Disconnect your joy-cons by pressing the sync button once and not holding it. Make sure that they're still paired in Bluetooth.
  2. Open BetterJoy, which should not close down. If there's an arrow on the very right side of the window, click it.
  3. Scroll through the menu that pops up until you find an option that says "Gyro Analog Sliders." If it's there and it's enabled, turn it off.
  4. Then it should work (at the very least not shut down constantly), simply reconnect your Joy-cons. If checking or unchecking Gyro analog sliders does not work, or if the problem still persists, then the creator should be able to help. I also don't have any information on Joy-Cons not working, because I asked the creator exactly the same thing. Hope this helps!

I was having the same issue and I seemed to fix it. Another user mentioned that setting "EnableRumble" to true instead of false fixed their problem and it worked for me, hope it works for you.
