BetterJoyForCemu Access Denied #1064

I've followed the instructions on the github page as best I can, but when I open the app, I get a message from "Microsoft .NET Framework" which says "Access to the path 'C:\Program Files\BetterJoyForCemu\settings' is denied." I can continue into the app, but when I try to add my Switch Pro controller, I get the same message, but instead of "\settings", it's "\3rdPartyControllers" that's denied. There's a tab for Details, but I can't make heads or tails of them (though if anyone wants to see them, I can upload them to github, assuming my computer's security won't be compromised). I've downloaded the driver for my version of windows, but I haven't done anything with HIDGuardian because I didn't see anything about it in the instructions, and while the driver README says details about HIDGuardian are in the main README, there isn't another README in the BetterJoy folder. I'm not tech-savvy at all, so if you have any solutions for me, I'd really appreciate keeping that in mind. Thanks in advance!

I only downloaded BetterJoy because my GameCube controller wasn't working, but it is now, so don't bother answering this unless you think it can help someone else.
