Problem with locating joycons #1168

Hi i've just downloaded betterjoy and i want to connect my joy-cons but i don't know how.

I would be grateful if someone could help me. I've followed all the steps to downloading but when i try to locate/connect the joy-con how i think it connects it doesn't do anything.

Please help me.
