Driver installation/uninstallation causes UNEXPECTED KERNEL MODE TRAP BSoD for any USB controller #207

I hope I'm not painting with too broad of a brush with this issue or creating an issue not relevant to the actual software, but I need some help, in case anyone's had a similar problem.

I installed the drivers and everything and used the software successfully so Windows would detect my (wired) Pro Controller for use with Steam games and the like, but decided to uninstall it to see if I could find an alternative solution.

The timeline from here I don't fully remember, but after uninstalling the drivers, actions such as unplugging any USB controller, plugging in any USB controller or restarting my computer with a USB controller plugged in bluescreens with an UNEXPECTED KERNEL MODE TRAP stop code without fail, even with the driver uninstalled. Could anyone recommend a possible solution? I'll provide more details if requested.

It is worth mentioning that for the same purpose, I've used other software that uses HidCerberus before, but all related drivers should be uninstalled; I haven't dug into the registry editor at all, though, if that would matter.

Had u find any solution? I'm still stuck with it, I can't find nothing to do for play with my nintendo switch pro controller on da pc without reading that blue screen error..

If you reinstall the drivers, then go to http://localhost:26762/ and remove all the affected devices and then uninstall again, that should reset everything to how it was before.

Acyually it worked jahaha, thank you alot^^ I had a affected device, but y is there a section for add affected devices?

Davidobot commented 4 years ago

Because HidGuardian allows you to manually add devices to the exclusion list.

Si vous réinstallez les pilotes, accédez à http://localhost:26762/ et supprimez tous les périphériques concernés, puis désinstallez à nouveau, cela devrait tout réinitialiser comme avant.

Thanks a lot but i have a question what is http://localhost:26762/ ????
