Would it be possible to add a configuration option so that by default a single joy-con that connects starts in vertical rather than horizontal mode? (or alternatively have it remember previous state when joycon was last connected) For certain games I use a single joycon in left hand (for the directional stick) and a mouse in right hand, and right now not only do i need to click manually to change orientation every time but also when i disconnect / reconnect the program doesn't allow me to change orientation anymore even though it detects the joy-con connecting (background turns green). [this is probably a bug btw] hence i need to close betterjoy and restart again which makes the process rather cumbersome.

There is an option in app config to change orientation on L3/R3 click.

thanks! however i must be dense but i checked line by line both the config and settings (button mappings) files and didn't see anything that looks like what you say above? can you point me to the name of the setting to change? thx (btw I am using version 6.4 which seems latest one)

It's in the newer officially unreleased 6.5 build. Search around the issues page to find the zip

awesome piece of software btw. without this don't know how i could've found my one handed controller setup!
