Wireless Pro Controller disconnects almost immediately (v6.4) #869

Hey all,

I'm having an annoying issue where my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller keeps disconnecting when BetterJoy is open.

It seems to "drop" the connection/polling thread almost immediately, after around only 5 seconds of being connected, making it impossible to use my controller. This is not normal behaviour.

I've tried removing and reinstalling drivers, fiddling with config settings, restarting my PC and whatnot, and it doesn't seem to work.

I'm using Bluetooth as it is built into my motherboard. I don't have any other wireless devices connecting to my PC either.

I'm running out of options. What should I do?

Thankyou for reading.

Just a random thought -- did your mobo come with a separate wifi antenna? I know that with mine the antenna also supports the bluetooth, and without it the range and stability of the connection was miserable. Once I screwed in the antenna and made sure the receiver wasn't blocked by any other electronics betterjoy has been pretty rock solid.

I'm having this identical issue. I'm using a 3rd party controller in the form of the Power A Fusion Pro, but the issue is the same. Wired or wireless, the controller disconnects almost as soon as the polling thread begins.

FYI, my mobo came with a separate antenna, which I'm using. This is my primary gaming controller on PC, and I've never had connection issues or dropped inputs.

Also having this issue, been having it ever since mid October. The latest build of BetterJoy did NOT fix the problem.
