Logging of IM events #30

What:
Example item to log:
- when an IM was sent / received and the size of its packet/message

It would provide a similar role that access_log and error_log provide for
Apache

Purpose:

For reporting purposes and to be able to make claims similar to the ones in
this blog post:
http://blog.meebo.com/?p=330
"You all spend, on average, 60-70 minutes per login"

For debugging

Questions:
Any other specific items worth logging?
