Ca. 600 participants want major changes to the funding system (major_changes). Which changes does this group want? Towards what direction should the funding system transform?

  1. More 1st or 2nd money stream?
  2. Competitive grants or rolling grants?
  3. Team grants or individual grants?
  4. Small or large grants?

(Point 1 and 2 perhaps overlap?)

Additional question: Looking at participants who say they want little to no changes, do their choices conform to the current situation? To do this, we need to know the current division first/second money stream.

nuanced question: 1- is satisfaction with the current system correlated with having experience of sitting in committees? 2- is this also related to the self-claimed success rates in previous grants

Some initial exporting code for the qualitative answers was added in #24 . I have exported suggestions of changes (which_changes), together with the degree of desired change (major_changes), split by award-winning success, and by membership in committees (none, all types, everything in between).
