I like "indefinite grow" more as it uses the full space available in the component. If we don't want the component to be so wide, we should be limiting the width of the whole component (trading panel), rather than managing the width of its contents. In my opinion the trade panel needs to be narrower in both the examples above and then its contents should just fit its width.

Already fixed. the container now expands fully on desktop but has a max width of 500px.
