[main] set mcode: use less expensive bisection check

Fixes issue #6

Previously, a full bisection on the submitted mcode was done. This is fast when the bisection is cached but but slow otherwise. Instead we just perform 2 interestingness checks on bisection_commit and bisection_commit~.
