Not 100% sure why; this seems to happen specifically with Suckerberg. Probably affects the other themes, too. When trying to apply tags to a post, each tag entry does not automatically transform into a bubble UI element. Instead, it remains in a comma-separated list.
Luckily, the tags do get correctly applied into individual terms after saving a post, but from a cosmetic point of view, this is broken.
