M3u pls files are not playing at all #295

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Playing any M3U file or PLS file

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the playlist to play my music but what happens is I see flashing
"loading vobsub subtitles" on the upper left of the screen for a while then
the applications goes back to the first menu.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MPlayer CE version 0.62 (23.06.2009)

Please provide any additional information below.
1. The playlist files are created in WINAMP
2. I have tried using files in root and not.
3. The music is not in root.
4. I have tried PLS and M3U
5a.The PLS is a attempt when I saved the PLS file in (root)\Music
5b.The M3U is an attempt when I save the M3U in root.

If i have to save all the music(mp3s) in Root that really sucks because it
disorganizes the files.... If it is the case though consider this a request
to be able to play a playlist where the mp3 files are not in ROOT.

Try as might, I can't get ANY playlists to work. I've used the Playlist and
Open
menu options, saved m3u, asx files, created mplayer lists with just filenames
in a
file. I've edited the list_ext file to look for different kinds of extensions.
  My
Music is on a SMB share, but I also tried on a USB drive.

I'm using Mplayer CE v 0.75
