gxzoom, hor_pos, vert_pos not doing anything #775

gxzoom, hor_pos, vert_pos in mplayer.conf don't have any effect on the display 
no matter what values I try.

Now that these options have been removed, is there an alternative way of 
adjusting the display?

For a number of releases wide screen videos have shown along the bottom edge of 
my 4:3 display. That is, no black bar on the bottom and a large black bar on 
top. The wiki currently lists vert_pos as an apparent solution. It's 
disappointing to see this bug with no comment as to an alternative fix.
