exactly the same on all points) xvid video, playback stops in the middle of an

I had the same issue with playing an .avi-file from my USB HDD. Movie stopped
and I
ended up in the menu, which was 'frozen'.

And another movie freezes after 5 minutes.
I am using v0.76
Properties of the avi-file:
wxh: 720x576
Duration: 1:00:00
Bit Rate 128 kbps
Audio format: Lame MP3
Framerate 25
Datarate 1309 kbps
Vudei sample size: 24 bit
Video Compression: DIVX
Extra info: It is easy to check if the file will stop prematurely. After you
have
started the video, check if you can fast forward or rewind it. If NOT, then the
file
will stop prematurely.
(Issue 248 seems to be the same)
