Goal: give people the option to not only share single orthophotos but also collections of orthophotos of their projects

one idea to keep it simple first: new handwritten table containing columns: collection_id, name, authors, description, list of dataset_ids

What would be the connection to projects here?

Are they meant to be a subset of a single project or can they 'group' datasets of different projects?

Unrelated to project_id.

It's supposed to be like playlists on spotify. Collections can overlap.

As a set of orthophotos is often related to some project, it would be nice if users would be able to share: "Hey here is the data of my field trip: deadtrees.earth/collections/fieldtripinfrance."
