ESR currently fits a mean relation, but for datasets with large variance relative to their uncertainties the likelihood will be significantly improved by adding intrinsic scatter. This may also alter the best-fit values of the other parameters. It would be useful to have the option to fit intrinsic scatter for all functions considered.
