Hi there,

Have installed the plugin, and everything seems fine. But now sure how to link it to pictures being sold? Have read through the read me with no luck, but using the following:

So with this being said, also unclear as to how the user of the site then actions the change? Is this under the attributes tab in products?

Look forward to hearing your response,

Best,

Hi Dominic,

Sorry to only just be getting back to you but I’ve been out of the office in meetings for the last day or so.

The picture framer woocommerce extension on Github is still being built. It’s really not production ready yet. It’s also not meant for public consumption at the moment (and probably never will be). I’ve built it very specifically for one site I’m working on and much of the plugin code is tightly coupled to that site and its plugins. Using it anywhere else may not provide results as expected. I also can’t support the plugin anywhere but on the one site on which I’m using it.

That being said, I’ve given the code an open source GPL licence so you’re free to get what mileage you can from it.

Possibly the reason you’re not seeing the plugin on the project page is because somewhere in the plugin code I’ve specified it to only display on a certain category name. I haven’t got a chance at the moment, but when I do I’ll have a look and see where in the code that’s written. It’s the sort of thing that should be pulled into an option in the admin pages, but as I’m still developing the plugin, and as it’s only designed to be used on the one site I haven’t yet bothered.

Oh, one other thing… the readme.txt is just a generic one that’s only half filled out… don’t use it!

Cheers,

Dave

created a new frame, with PNG of frame as featured image, created a SKU then on products page (seller sells photographs) under custom fields has drop down of wpl_picture_frame_sku & wpl_picture_frame_type, so put name into type value box, and put sku under sky value box and add. unclear about step 3 of installation instructions, seems too generic, could this be elaborated upon? So with this being said, also unclear as to how the user of the site then actions the change? Is this under the attributes tab in products?
