Spectral cube handling fails[BUG] #13

Issue

So I tried parsing a data cube I had lying around to see what would happen at the end of this tutorial.

I got the following error.

Note

I don't necessarily expect you to make this versatile enough to accommodate all data cubes, but telling users in the tutorial what kind of data they will be able to parse would be useful.

I think this would be a spectral-cube issue. Do you mind sharing some more details of the data cube you tried parsing? maybe just what the header looks like?

Ah interesting - I don't believe spectral cube will work well with this kind of file (at least without some extra steps). I'll add some text explaining exactly what kinds of data can be used with spectral cube. Specifically, the data needs to be a 3d array of (position, position, velocity/frequency/wavelength) in a regular grid and the NAXIS keyword in the header needs to be 3.
