Java 1.6 class files were reported to cause problems with Android.

Actually, I don't think it's an Android error; the issue arose when I attempted 
to `mvn clean package` on OS X 
10.5 (where Java 1.5 is the default).  You can ignore this issue if you want.

There may be reasons to target the lowest possible version (1.5, due to the use 
of generics), but 1.6 may build 
JARs that are usable from 1.5 code.  Not sure.
