1 year ago Sorted. We're going down the DITA-OT route, with a supplemental tonal search page in a later phase.
This was due to:
- stakeholders don't want to move too far from current format
- we had to refocus effort on providing editable field manual, over releasing the tabular content
We have a choice of approaches to the overall manual.
1. DITA-Heavy
We use DITA-OT to publish the whole document, and introduce elements where we require the summary listings. We just use
react-adminfor the advanced search page2. React-Admin-Heavy
We publish the document-set using DITA-OT, but we just use the set of per-unit HTML pages. We use React-Admin to let the users work with the content, filtering the data to get to the units/installations of interest, then provide link to view the per-unit page for each.
