Can't sign up #26

I tried to sign up for the DeepL API free plan, but on the final confirmation page I just keep getting a generic "Oops something went wrong" message. There is nothing useful on the website and I can't get any help without upgrading to Pro, which I am not going to do since I can't even find out if the service will work for me. According to the status page everything is working normally. It's no wonder the feedback on your help pages is overwhelmingly negative.
