List of games using the assets? #15

Have you all considered keeping a list of games which use the assets you've collected? It might be a nice way to showcase both the games and the assets, and for people to see what their work has been used for.

Here's an example list for the ZGB gameboy engine: https://github.com/Zal0/ZGB/wiki/Made-with-ZGB

Just an idea, thanks!

This actually sounds like a fantastic idea! I've never thought of this before, thanks for suggesting this!

I know of at least three games that have proudly used assets from this repo to include, but I could also give the GB Studio discord a shout to see if anyone else wants to put their game up on display. I'll get right on adding a Wiki page just like ZGB's.

The only thing I'd be concerned about is the process of getting a game featured. Should we perhaps make a pinned issue that people can comment on to have their game added to the Wiki, and y'all could keep up with it? I just wouldn't want to be the only one adding games to a Wiki list, but I wholeheartedly condone it.

Update: Okay a Wiki isn't happening 😅

Great! And yeah, a pinned issue seems like the most straightforward way to accept add-game requests. As long as the others who are listed as Contributors are up for that.

(Otherwise the only option that comes to mind would be to format is as a Readme file within the repository itself. Then it would be possible to accept Pull Requests on the list itself. That might lack some features (?) the wiki has though.)

ps: I have a personal motivation for this. :) I used music from krümel in my game Petris for the Game Boy Color

Update: While I still think this isn't a bad idea to show this repo's usefulness, realistically I and others can't go hunt down every GB Studio game that uses these assets. I may have been a bit too eager with the concept of a Wiki. But posting your game here in this issue is more than welcome for now.
