I'm sure there is a way to migrate the data to the new schema :)
The way i see it as of now is this, and i talked about this with a few people.
Companies can buy a subscription, that should go on subdomains like learningspaces, http://defacto.lerendoseren.nl in that domain everything is open and usable for users with an email address of the company. Then there should be a public domain where anyone can register for free and use the basic problems, add/divide/multiply/subtract. To gain full use of the app they would have to pay around 10 euros a year (price is debatable).
This will cost a bit of time but i see this as a perfect product to sell to everyone, in the interviews i had with NHL students all of them would be ok with paying a little bit to use this for private use.
Multi tenancy in user groups for now
We want multi-tenancy in the same way as Learning Spaces and Hours. Unless there is a way of keeping data from user-groups on subdomains we should wait with merging this until after the GH test. Also i'm afraid users will be confused if they all of a sudden have to go to another domain, it is not a big deal for us but i can imagine it is for them.
