Suggestion: Adding WebDav sync? #8

It would be awesome to have WebDav sync in the app so you can sync it with a NextCloud instance. Not sure if you have used Joplin (Notebook app), but that is a great app to show how I mean. :D

Hey there. The whole point of Mercury was to keep your data confidential by not sending them on the cloud, and only keep them on local storage. However, I know that syncing between multiple devices would be awesome, I may think over it ! I have never used Joplin before, maybe I'll give it a try to picture out what you meant. ;)

Hey. I have a suggestion. Before adding a cloud feature, maybe it will be best to add encryption first ?

If the sqlite database is encrypted, then it's not a problem to expose it encrypted on a cloud, being NextCloud, OwnCloud or any of the branded clouds. Also, having the data encrypted on the local machine is still a good benefit.

I totally subscribe to that suggestion ! Great idea, thanks ! It would be indeed a good first step to ensure security, and then look for a cloud feature
