Cannot change Font #403

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Preferences -> Appearance -> Set Font
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

* Font-Window shows up and closes immediately

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

* 0.5.0
* Mac OS 10.6

What method of install was your version installed with (Binary/Source)?

* Binary

If from source: What version of python and wxPython are you using?

A version of Editra that has been tested on OSX 10.6 has not yet been released.

OSX 10.6 has only been out for a couple of days so it may be awhile before it is
fully supported.

Confirmed as upstream bug in wxWidgets.

Fix has been committed but need to wait for another release of wxPython before 
this
will be corrected on 10.6.

This should be corrected in the current 0.5.60 release that has was built on the
wxpython 2.8.11 binaries.

let me know if this is not the case
