Crash when using multiple windows with multiple tabs #445

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a few documents
2. Pull one tab out into a new window
3. Open some more documents
4. Pull one tab out into another new window (3 total now)
5. Open some more documents into this latest window
6. Close the 3rd window
7. Open a new document (should cause a crash)

It doesn't happen to me every single time, but definitely more than 50%. I
find the more tabs I have open, the more likely it is to happen.

Editra Version 0.5.25
Platform Info: (win32, python 2.5.4,wxMSW 2.8.10.1, unicode, wx-assertions-
on, SWIG-1.3.29)
Windows XP SP3

Hi,

If you look in your install directory (i.e C:\Program Files\Editra)

Is there a file with a name like Editra.error.txt or error.txt? If so could you
attach it to this report.

Thanks,

Cody

There is no error log file generated. When the error happens a box pops up and
asks
abort, retry, ignore, but no matter what I choose, the editor is done. Then
visual
studio asks if I want to debug, but I doubt that's relevant.
