window split problem #497

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Please see the attatched file.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
=>0.5.51

What method of install was your version installed with (Binary/Source)?
=>Binary

If from source: What version of python and wxPython are you using?

Hi,

Why did you attach an excel sheet?

If there are screenshots or something in there please attach image files
(jpeg/png/...) I don't have Excel on this computer and would not open an excel 
file
anyways because of security issues.

I am sorry. I describe the problem ...

Operating System: windows xp service pack3

Problem:
 1.mouse  is in the right window. Search...
 2.move mouse to the left window, but the current doc'tab can not be recognized. 
 3.and the result of search is belong to the right window.

and see the new attach file, please.

Ah I see the issue Thanks!

I will get a fix in for the next release.

For now you have to click on the tab to set the focus to the window.

Fixed in current svn. 

Ensure that tab change events are generated when a buffer is clicked in in a 
split
notebook.
