I'd love to be able to choose a desaturation color for icons.
For example:
I have actions that show all the time.
when they are not on cooldown and character is high enough level to have access to that skill, the icon is displayed normally
when the skill is on cooldown, it is desaturated (grey)
when the character is not high enough level currently to use the icon, I also set it to desaturate, but i'd love to give it a red overlay to indicate the action is not available at this level.
Changing the desaturation color could also be used to indicate things like not enough mana to cast, etc.
