Search comments and bazaar messages aren't enough. Discord can scroll off messages.

Intention: build a sort of searchable directory, possibly via discord bot or a homebrew system using existing account credentials to handle authentication.

Reasoning: I do not want to use an actual forum, where messages could be pushed down/bumped/spammed, or internet spambot prevention would be a thing.

I have suggested to let some well known players on this server help with a forums, its a better system than discord for long term communication when discord is live chat system.

Since we have only discord, would suggest adding more channels for certain things, like LFG/WTS/WTB etc etc

Forums bring other challenges I don't want to deal with. Including spambot prevention players using the wrong channels to contact me, additional forum feature requests etc..And forum post aren't that good a method either. Using discord messages for telling ppl what you have for sale is like writing a novel via twitter posts and using forums for it is like using 2 twitter posts - I'm looking to set something up you can manage form in game if possible, via a !command, and if not, something you can manage via a command to a discord bot.

Discord command structure thoughts: search for item !botname find itemname - return list of sellers and prices add an item !botname add itemname price list self as an available goldsmith !botname role goldsmith level

Have decides not to go the in game or discord bot route, and instead use a login system that uses your account credentials to do our own mini ffxiah: bazaar and wanted lists, crafter search function
