Yes, it makes sense. Good semantics.
Now what's required is a condo willing to try it out, no?
Hello! Thank you @domi41 for welcoming this idea of "Condominium adaptations".
Yes, the real-life test is also necessary, perhaps tests before adaptations... A test with the simplest use-case and minimal installation... Some clues to obtain a DemocracyEarth Minimal-version?
Obtaining a minimal version is also what we're trying to achieve in issue #103 . The 0.1.0 release is close and should provide enough for a try-out. Stay tuned, especially around october, where a "finish line" hackathon might occur for sovereign.
Thanks for your interest into making the world a fairer place !
Hi, any news here?
We can generalize this issue to "interested in small collective governance", so the same demands are valid also for condominium, voluntary association, democratic club, democractic cooperative, etc.
Vague premisses, mixed in theoretical motivations... Checking consensus about it:
Condominium is a microcosm embedded in the nation's political culture. Perhaps a photo of the average of all condos, is a photo of the nation: there are some fractal relation... So, to change the nation's culture, we can start changing locally, and the condominium is the "local atom" of the political culture.
The software requirements for a DemocracyEarth/sovereign adapted to condo demands, will be easyest to implement.
The condo is also embedded in the constraints of the law (legal aspects of the condo's governance in each nation or city)... We can separate these aspects from the "universal aspects" (of governance, voting-system, etc.); and, when need non-universal enhancements in the software, we can use some kind of strategy pattern to plug each local constraint.
Make sense?
