7 years ago Speaking with my girlfriend we came up with some ideas to implement this;
- add a magazine rack in Pierre's shop. That is where you interact to buy recipes
- show recipes that are in season only
- recipes available could change weekly (random set of X recipes that the player doesn't know and are in season)
- price of recipes could be based on friendship level required to make them (or on the sell value of made item)

To be honest the friendship system in the game is so tedious that I don't fool with it and part of me balks at the idea of buying friendship anywhere. However, unless I am mistaken this is the only real way to get All the recipes. It would be nice if we could buy a cookbook or even a series of cookbooks. In addition to a universe goods and resource catalogue this is something I would love to see someone create. -- JamieMage2005
