Oh yikes, don't you think it would be TOO grindy? With the changes to smelting recipes, I fear making Copper tools require Copper Plates will make the game too frustrating. I may change it; I will think about this.

I actually prefer it way slower like it's on the title. and I still get easily confused with the recipes being different from others so why not make it plain and simple to be aligned with each other. Could be nice if it was a datapack packaged within your mod so basically players dont have to be shocked the fact that the recipe changed suddenly. or so you wont have a bad time using your mod too 👍 .

I'll consider this. Packaging data packs within my mod could allow users to have more flexibility with configuring the mod.
