Candle on Mac controlling Genmitsu 3018

Describe the bug connect to 3018 with USB run Candle load >.nc file - file looks good hit send spindle starts and Candle program displays correct cut path I can follow the whole G Code sequence till the end but nothing else happens on the 3018 except for the spindle turning on - no x,y or z movement

It all looks like it should be working but it's not
