I can't say much here, as that part of the code has not been touched in this fork. AFAIK states store a version that is compared against a version in bsnes to see if the state was created with a compatible version of bsnes.
Had a driver crash with the emulator while playing Earthbound, and now the game constantly plays in fast-forward and upon trying to load the save state again it now says it's incompatible. Is there a way to check what the state IS compatible with?
