no input possible on specific state #74

for some reason a specific savestate of Bushi Seiryuuden: Futari no Yuusha does no longer accept any input no matter if i try keyboard or gamepad. when i load a different state it works sometimes, but sometimes these are no longer allowing input as well on some occasions it even carries over to different roms. restarting bsnes fixes this but the one save state stays unresponsive no matter what. just to make this clear: Music is playing normally and animations are playing but there is no reaction to any button presses.

i included everyhing in the attached zip file in case someone wants to give it a try, the savestate in question is savestate 1

I doubt I can look into that, as I only work on the video output in this. It may solve itself when I update to the latest bsnes codebase. Maybe someone wants to take a look at it. If so, there may be some additional info required, firstly the exact bsnes-hd version. (I had to remove the attachment for (c) reasons. Feel free to reupload only the savestates file.)

Thanks for your quick reaction and sorry for not thinking this through properly, of course this has to be submitted to the bsnes main branch. i will try to run it with the latest bsnes (minus hd) and see if this fixes it, if not i will raise the issue there. also sorry about the attachment, i didn't think about any c stuff. Feel free to close this

save states are not compatible between current bsnes and bsnes-hd :-(

bsnes-hd is currently based on bsnes 114.3. The latest bsnes is 115 (following 114.6). So they are not compatible, but the issue may very well be solved in bsnes. It's hard to tell.
