Installation fails for gedit 3 #5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installation of plugin for gedit 3 does not work as descibed.
2. Changing the installation directory to ~/local/share/gedit/plugin as 
described here 
http://askubuntu.com/questions/61785/how-do-i-install-a-plugin-for-gedit-v3 
does not work either.
3. Changing the field property "IAge=2" in rewrap=gedit-plugin to "IAge=3"
does not work either.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The plugin is not visible under Edit->Preferences->Plugins

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ubuntu 14.04 beta 1, gedit 3.10.4, gedit-rewrap 1.1.0

Please provide any additional information below.
