7 years ago Okay, so, possible options:
- Drop dodging as a defensive mechanic.
- Make dodging and blocking mechanically different (i.e., dodge is all or nothing, or requires you to move, or or or)
- Give Resilience another function, such as reducing recoil further or increasing the death threshold.
- Add a Recoil cost to dodging.
Removing dodging is a nuclear option. I want to have multiple defense choices, especially since some players may not be on a grid and thus won't have the ability to put distance between themselves and their enemies.
Resilience seems redundant, as Speed can be used defensively, so it seems like it's a better option.
