The BIMI implementation guide only recommends this, but apparently Gmail requires it. 😑 Unfortunately, according to that implementation guide, the only ways to generate VMCs right now are with Entrust Data Card or DigiCert, and they cost $999 or $1499 per year respectively. So...probably not gonna be applying for these any time soon. 🥴 On the plus side, from those websites, it looks like you can use a logo even if it doesn't have a registered trademark.
